LITTLE LAMBS PRESCHOOL
The Little Lambs Preschool is under the direction of the Corning Christian Academy Board of Directors and is a division of the Christian Learning Center. Our preschool is a non-profit program offering an academically-based program for Kindergarten readiness. Extended care for preschool participants is available at our Aisne Street location. Little Lambs is open to all residents of the Southern Tier regardless of race, creed or nationality. The teaching staff consists of excellent people with a keen love for children and experience in early childhood education.

Corning: 11 Aisne Street - Ages 3 & 4 - Full-day programs only (M-F 9am-2:30pm or 7:30am-5:30pm).

Painted Post: Victory Highway Wesleyan Church - Ages 3 & 4 - Half-day programs only (M-W-F or T-Th) 9:00am - 11:45am
EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Little Lambs is committed to providing a warm, loving, Christian environment that will offer security as well as challenge the total development of your young child. The program is designed to help your child develop a knowledge and understanding of the world around him/her through exploration, experimentation, play and well-planned activities.

Parents and grandparents will be invited to visit, drive for field trips, help with special projects or have lunch with us.
Registration
Application forms for Little Lambs are available in the offices of the Corning Christian Academy, 11 Aisne Street, Corning, NY 14830, or you may click here to go to downoad the Little Lambs application. Your child will be enrolled if space is available; otherwise your child's name will be put on the "wait list." A non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 is required with each application.
Entrance Requirements
The Little Lambs Preschool welcomes three and four year old children regardless of racial, ethnic or religious background. The requirements for admission are:

A child must be three years old by December 1.

All children must be completely toilet trained.

A physical and health history form must be submitted to the school no later than thirty days after enrollment.

A form must be signed by the parents or legal guardians of each child granting permission to participate in school activities and receive emergency medical care.

A 30 day trial period will be in effect for all students.
Little Lambs Sessions - AISNE STREET (Ages 3 and 4)
Early Care
7:15-9:00 am
Early care is offered on a contract basis to parents who need care prior to AM preschool session.
Preschool Session
9:00am-2:30 pm
This is the "backbone" of the Little Lambs program. We utilize a solid curriculum of discovery and learning, with a strong emphasis on colors, shapes, sounds, seasons, numbers, and letters. A Christian perspective is woven throughout each educational activity.
Clubhouse
2:30-5:45pm
This session will have guided play and many other activities including outdoor play. A snack will be provided.
Little Lambs Sessions - SATELLITE LOCATIONS (Ages 3 and 4)
9:00-11:15am
Cooperative learning and play are emphasized in this session.
Sessions begin in September and continue through the second week of June. If you would like a Little Lambs calendar, please contact the school.
